**Warning!** After using this utility, ordinarily replacing files inside EFLC will also replace the same file in GTA IV and vice-versa. To prevent this, **delete** the file(s) you want to replace first before doing so. I'm working on a solution for this, however don't expect anything anytime soon, this is a difficult problem to tackle. Blame Microsoft.

**A fair word of warning!** After using this utility, ordinarily replacing files inside EFLC will also replace the same files in GTA IV and vice-versa. To prevent this, **delete** the file(s) you want to replace first before doing so. Also, modding your games by other means (OpenIV) might give you the same result. I'm working on a solution for this, however don't expect anything anytime soon, this is a difficult problem to tackle. Blame Microsoft. Do not use this program and mod if you don't know what you're doing.

This utility shrinks your EFLC install by using [NTFS Hard-Links](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_link). It essentially creates shortcuts of identical files from GTA IV, and uses those to replace EFLC's files. This saves over 8000MB (8702MB in my case) of space. Deleting GTA IV **will not** break your EFLC install. This utility should be perfectly compatible to modded versions of GTA IV, too: Modded files will be ignored.
